Dunnottar Castle is a stunning location,
and worthy of a visit at any time of the
day or the year. It always has a presence
to it, but never more so than in the
early hours of the morning. Sunrise on
this particular day was long and intense,
with the clouds blazing crimson at
dawn. It was, however, this shot of the
castle picked out in the early light as
the sun broke the horizon that was my
favourite from the day.
