Special Awards

This year’s special awards are listed below. When you enter any of the main categories, your images are automatically entered into the special categories.

For example, if you enter an image in the landscape that is of a mountain range covered in snow, your image is automatically entered into the 4 seasons winter category. If you enter an image in the seascape category that is submitted in black and white, your image is automatically entered into the Monochrome award category. 

4 Seasons Award

The 4 seasons award will be given to the single image for each season, which in the opinion of the judging panel is the best in this category. 

Monochrome Award

The Monochrome award will be given to the single image, which in the opinion of the judging panel is the best in this category. 

The Weather Award

The Weather award will be given to the single image, which in the opinion of the judging panel is the best in this category. 

The Environment Award

The Fragile Planet Award is a special award reflecting the image that best reflects the fragile nature of the Scottish landscape.
