Having returned on numerous occasions
to this beautiful vista, and only having
encountered the perfect spread of mist
once before, it was on this occasion that
not only was the mist ideal but, much to
my delight, the early Autumn sun decided
to make a rare appearance… a very for-
tuitous combination, never seen before, in
the several years I have shot this view…

The position of little Loch Rusky above the Carse of Stirling ensures this Infiniti type view across to the Campsie Fells. It always remains remarkably
calm in the early morning moonlight… the blue hour, before the colours of the gloaming and the hustle of the inevitable fishermen…
