This is a location I visit quite a lot as it always produces the conditions I long for. This morning it was a really nice layer of frost and a simple sunrise to add some colour to the scene.

On a trip North to Glen Coe we always pass Rannoch Moor and if the conditions are right a quick stop is called for. The day itself had blue skies but a rain storm over the Black Mount range caught my eye.

A beautiful misty morning at Threave Castle on the River Dee, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway. One of those perfect mornings at this location where to find the perfect conditions of misty, sunrise and completely no movement in the river.
