‘The Blue Nile’ Renfield Street. Glasgow
Renfield Street is one of the most congested arteries of Glasgow’s transport
system. A constant stream of people
flow through here, on route home, or
arriving from all around the city. I had
always imagined the view down the
street from the top of the Herald and
Times building (where I work) would
make for a great image, if I timed things
just right. I aimed for an April evening
when there had been some rain earlier
in the day so I could pick up the maximum amount of reflection from the
various light sources of street lamps,
shop neon’s and car trails.
