Hi Res files and text descriptions

NOTE: IMAGES MUST BE RECEIVED BY MIDNIGHT 9th JULY 2024

Step 1 – Prepare your high Resolution files

a) Locate and save your hi resolution images as 300ppi Jpgs at full size.

b) Save each image in this format – forename_surname_001.jpg

If your name is John Smith for example, your images would be

john_smith_001.jpg
john_smith_002.jpg
john_smith_003.jpg
etc…

VERY IMPORTANT: Your images must be named in the above numbering format to ensure your image matches with the description you provide in your text file.

Step 2 – Prepare your image descriptions

a) Start a new file in a text editor such as TextEdit or Wordpad. (Do not use Microsoft Word or any other word processor. We won’t accept these files.)

b) Enter the following information about each image.

Your website or social media page link (optional)

Image file name
Your Name
Image Title
Image location
Image description (Maximum 35 words)
Camera information/settings (optional)

If your name is John Smith for example, it should look like this below.

c) Save your file as a plain text and name it in this format – forename_surname.txt

e.g If your name is John Smith, your file should be saved as – john_smith.txt

IMPORTANT

The information you provide will not be edited or corrected once received and must be submitted in the correct format above. It is your responsibility to ensure the information is correct and all spellings are correct. If your image is used in print or in the media, errors cannot be corrected once in print.

Step 3 – locate your RAW Files

RAW files do not need to be renamed. Please just include these in the file.

Step 4 – save your files in a zipped folder

a) Create a new folder and save it as your name (e.g. John Smith)

b) Place your hi resolution images and text file in the folder

c) Place your RAW files in the folder

d) Zip the folder

e) Send your zipped folder via Wetransfer.com to the email address supplied in your notification email.
