Please be advised that all emails have been sent successfully to all the entrants shortlisted below.
Some entrants have emailed to say they never received their notification email but we can confirm that their emails were sent successfully. Shortly after this, the same people have informed us that they have now received their emails or they were late in arriving.
Please be advised that there is no problem with the competitions email system and we have received hi res files from most entrants. The problems are with certain email providers and we have no control over this. Certain email providers are known to be over cautious with their spam filters and as a result, emails can sometimes take along time to arrive. We know that BT Internet, zen.co.uk and zoho.eu are problematic, so if you use any of these as an email provider then please allow an additional 24 hours for them to arrive.
Please note that we are counting every entrant that replies and if we have not received their files, we will try alternative means.
That said, it has come to my attention that some entrants are sharing their emails with other entrants, having conversations on social media and sparking panic with other entrants. As a result of this, I have been subjected to abuse and instead of allowing me time to respond and deal with something, I have been subjected to entitled demands and veiled threats.
For the avoidance of doubt, emails from the competition to individual entrants are private and confidential. They should not be shared or discussed with any other entrant.
If you have not received your email yet then please show some restraint and allow me time to respond. Taking to social media to vent frustrations helps no one and hinders everyone.

Judging for this year’s competition has now completed we are now performing the final image checks.
If your name is on the list, your images have been shortlisted for an award or commendation and you should expect to receive an email over the next 2 days with instructions for sending your hi resolution or RAW files to the competition. All emails will be sent to photographers by Midnight 6th July 2024 and you should check your spam folder during this period.
Please do not email the competition whilst we are sending out the emails as this can cause delays and hold up the process for everyone else. If your name is on the list and you have not received your email by the above date, only then should you should contact us via our contact page.
Please note: It is assumed that your Hi res and raw files are already prepared, therefore you will be allowed a maximum of 3 days to send your files.
If your name is not on the list, then we regret to say that you have not been successful and we express our sincere thanks for entering this year’s competition.
